are we getting ANY reasons? ANY real descriptions but the blue eyes and whiskey voice? She don’t know anything, she doesn’t analyse anything, doesn’t think, she doesn’t have explanations for ANYTHING around her. God, it’s so bad. The same things we get.

idea could be fine, but it’s so poorly executed. Characters have no dimension, they are not morally grey or unlikeable,no, fmc is irrational despite her constantly repeating how genius she is. Mmc? he doesn’t do anything but stare with his blue eyes and be intense and intimidating and have sexy muscles. That’s all they are. No real motivation. No logic. The book is simply bland.

the amount of “heart punding” is clearly hinting she has to see a cardiologist as soon as possible.

I’m so sick of reading the same hundred words the author uses and rotates not even changing the combinations of them. It’s painful to go through the pages. I cannot possibly be immersed in the story when I only see shit about her breath hitching, heart pounding and eyes staring

it’s not even funny how predictable it is. A boring kind of predictable.

I’m finishing this out of spite now, but God knows how much I want to dnf this masterpiece
