the most insufferable, narcissistic, and PATHETIC, FMC in any romance book that ive ever read. upon the discovery of her mom being a ceo, lloyd had every right to call her a hypocrite and to accuse her of becoming the person she sought to never be one.

she could've owned up to her mistakes COMPLETELY, and not bring in Lloyd's facade as some sort of like "but you did it too" typa way BUT NOOOOO.

the sudden interest of lloyd's personal life and directly asking him personal questions as if she vowed to never be distracted by him like?!?!? the projection and bloated self-importance if insaaaane

Anna is a blatant hypocrite, and is so endlessly annoying. I love that she is highly driven and that she struggles to keep at bay her feelings for Lloyd. But it's a bit off when she expects much from him while also expecting less and she can't make up her mind on that.

This story is so far coming off as this odd take of enemies to lovers where the girl says a lot about nothing???
