Half way through enemy of the people and every other line is just super solid. I love the succinct way they establish each character and how easily things go wrong for the doc. He wants to do a good thing and it's instantly spiralled out of control. Have stopped reading and will come back with a highlighter and pen to further appreciate some of these amazing lines!

'Enemy of the People' was definitely an enjoyable read! I prefer Miller but I see why he chose to adapt this play, they both have thoughts on how we live in a society. A wonderful template of frustration for those who have ever tried to inform people of something dangerous using science just to get vilified and politically outmaneuvered e.g. global warming or the tobacco industry.
