Thunderclan was visited by Shadowclan warriors, a strange sickness has taken over their camp. In Thunderclan everyone is noticing a change in cloudpaw. He’s getting too fat and out of curiosity Fireheart follows him only to discover he’s been being fed by two-legs, a direct disobedience of the warrior code.

Starclan has given Fireheart one of his first nightmares. He dreamt that as he chased after Spottedleaf the cats of the clan were demanding from him. Bluestar must’ve had a dream as well as she woke up with a start and asked Fireheart to accompany her to the moonstone. They were greeted angrily by Windclan cats and have been commanded to turn back. It is their right to visit the stone unharmed.

Cloudpaw is growing evermore disobedient and now he’s disappeared for a whole day. He disrespects the food he kills. Fireheart is still trying hard to be a good deputy and with the guidance from Whitestorm he’s learning fast. However Tawny and Bramblekit still frighten him with the eyes of his greatest enemy Tigerclaw.

Fireheart is still trying to maintain authority with his slightly disrespectful apprentice Cloudpaw. He is having trouble organizing hunts and patrols, he misses his friend Greystripe. Tigerclaw’s treachery has hit everyone hard even Fireheart. He hears the last threat Tigerclaw could make to him and now sits in the forest paranoid. As he approached the nursery he came face to face with Tigerclaw’s eyes. His son.
