Book the 2nd, Chapter 5. Things have started knocking up a bit. Dickens certainly foreshadows the coming chaos of the French Revolution at the end of the chapter with his storm analogy. Currently readying a chapter a day, taking it slow and just embracing everything this amazing author wrote. It really is fantastic

Book 1 Chapter 5. The wine shop. Really reiterates the poverty in France at this period of time. Masterful prose from Dickens. Can be tough to follow but the footnotes help so much. Enjoying this so far!
