Hannah got tickets for Jack to the hockey game. That would make him fall in love with her for sure! She went with him to the game. He mansplained the entire game! She got onto him and told him to stop. She has watched hockey since she was 4! He may have actually got her frustrated with him. Not enough to stop darting him like he is hoping!

Jack is trying to get more info on what scheme the Senator is participating in. Hannah has no idea what switched with Jack. Noah shows up to the venue planning and Hannah realizes she has moved on from him. He looks longingly at the Bride, Madison. He must really like her. He never looked at Hannah like that!

Jack invites Hannah to an art show. She actually knows the artist. They did an event together previously. Jack introduces Hannah to his mom on their second date! She doesn’t react since she needs to date him for 2 weeks. He tries plan B and flirts with another woman. Hannah is so bothered but again can’t say anything.

Jack is coming up with a list of ways to lose Hannah. His first step he decides on is to introduce her to his estranged mom! He doesn’t see her much since she left them and got remarried. Hannah is busy at work when her ex, Noah, comes to see her. He works for the senator whose daughter’s wedding she is helping plan. He doesn’t trust her work and seems smitten with the bride.

I am not liking this book. I am tired of starting books and then realizing they are full of cussing and over the top sexual content! 😭 I need to start looking up spice levels before buying books!

After dinner, Jack invites Hannah to his place. She is really liking him but is in her head a lot. She is very conflicted on really liking him and thinking about her promotion. Jack has a really nice place. His dad got the place after the company couldn’t pay him all of the contractor fees.

Hannah and Jack are on their first date. He has to be charming to get her then he can work on losing her. Hannah is surprised how much she is genuinely liking Jack. She wishes it didn’t just have to be to get her promotion. He takes her to a super fancy restaurant he can’t afford but the chef owes him a favor for writing about their restaurant in the past.

Jack texted Hannah and asked for a date right after he talked with Irv. She will be the one he uses for the article. Irv wants the story to be real. Readers can see through BS. Hannah needs Jack to be into her for two weeks to show she can plan weddings and more bigger events. She has to tone down the wall she has built from guys and soften up. But she really likes Jack and is worried she can keep her wall up!

Jack is the how to guy for a magazine company. His articles are popular. He wants to write political pieces but his boss doesn’t want to give up his successful articles. Irv, Jack’s boss, wants him to write about how guys don’t know how to date anymore. He wants Jack to make all the mistakes they do and then write about it. Teaching guys how they should treat a woman. Then he can get his political story!

While at the meeting, Sasha freezes on the wedding planning event update. Hannah asks to help plan. Her boss isn’t keen on it since she doesn’t date, or believe in marriage, so she lies saying that her and Nolan are dating. Her boss lets her plan with Sasha but wants to meet Nolan! Now Hannah will have to pretend to be dating him for 2 weeks!
