*Spoilers in comments* an overall engaging read. I did not much care for the perfect marriage, so I didn’t have any high expectations going into this book however, it was overall a fun read. The ending was quite interesting and the main character is terrifying. Overall, may recommend.

Lena This story covers Sarah and Bob, who are still married from the previous book. The plot line however, is a decade later where they have a daughter summer. Bob cheats on Sarah and she files for divorce. Bob thinks that Sarah is trying to basically wreck his life, and he doesn’t really want a divorce from her, so he basically turns in a knife to the police that was used to kill Adam’s mistress in the first book. It turns out, however, that that that knife was just covered in pig’s blood.

Sarah being the evil genius that she is kidnapped Bob’s mistress, and changed her up in the basement of some farmhouse. She frames Bob for this. So when Bob discovers the location of this place, Sarah had left a gun for the mistress so the mistress ends up shooting Bob. Bob had also hired a hitman Alejandro to take Sarah out, so Alejandro is basically not able to kill Sarah because she threatened him with a gun as well. Sarah then pays Alejandro to not kill her. Basically at the end, Bob is dead, Sarah is dating Alejandro, and summer and Sarah are to continue their life as before. Adam was executed for the murder of his mistress earlier in the book. His mother passed away at the end of the book.

Lena It’s actually hard to believe so little happened in the plot line with this much book. The characters were really quite annoying, and the plot twist wasn’t that much of a twist because we already know that Sarah is an evil genius from the previous book. I did not care for the first book in this series so as a result, I was not at all impressed by the second book, in fact, it followed almost the same type of trajectory and Line. Rated a three overall, it wasn’t bad, but wasn’t that good either.
