Dorothea is so straight. I find her funny, I love my characters humorous.

I know it is going to be a great read when it makes me laugh.

'self satisfaction which was last doom of ignorance and folly'

I interepret that she is saying self satisfaction leads to stop questioning yourself and therefore it stop yourself from growing intellectually and real wisdom.

With which I totally agree! But I think a healthy sense self satisfaction is also important to grow and learn more. It also prevents you from getting too stressed about yourself.

3, last line

"She could not reconcile the anxieties of spiritual life involving eternal consequences with keen interest in guimp and artifical protrusions"

That looks some beautiful line, which I don't understand clearly😭✨️
