I'm so looking forward to your conclusion. I started this book and like 20 pages in decided I didn't vibe with the writing style. But I think it was maybe just not the right time...

you definitely need to be in a specific mood to read it for sure! i tried reading it months ago and didn’t have the attention span—i didn’t even make it past the 2nd chapter tbh. this time around is so much better! the writing style is more fluid and victorian at the same time. and honestly i’m really vibing bc with it!
