The plan to re-read a decent amount of the novels in my collection this year hasn't been going very well. I have re-read a few things but most of the time I'm reaching for new books. :(
I suppose I still have a few months left. Maybe I should switch priorities

I can relate to this SO much!! I have not done well and rereading series its been a few years since I read!

I think my brain has been like "you gotta thin out your TBR before you can read your old books!!" and it makes sense because you paid money for the books you gotta read em at least once!! But if I keep doing that I'm never going to re-read my books because my TBR is never actually going to get thin, ever. (too many new/unread books out there)
I am in the same cycle. I keep thinking I will reread my books once I get my TBR down but I never actually get my TBR down.
But maybe I should save the last two months for rereads.

In addition to grabbing things to re-read this year, I think I'm going to set a particular number of books to re-read for next year
