Ilska is reporting lik rifa of their logistics with them only having 3-4 days of provisions after the raids but being only 2 days away from the wolf dales. Lik rifa is still convinced that ulfrir is weak as he is not joining the raids while rotta plans to get estrid and skalk to assassinate Elvar to crumble the leadership. Bjarn also points out the hypocrisy of lik rifa and how he isn’t free at all

Elvar is going over her fortifications as she sends more warrior out to torch their supply wagons. Here she asks Iva vol uspa skuld and ulfrir to fortify the main gates with their seidr magic casting ulfrirs blood to reinforce the fortifications and even leaving a nasty surprise for lik rifa and rotta so they cannot simply break through as easy

Jarl elvars war host is celebrating after the successful ambush that made lik rifa very angry as many of her forces have been killed. Varg remarks that is vigrid is changing so drastically why can thralling not change as well and if they should be fighting for someone who would make thralls of them. Jarl logur of liga also joins with his drengrs but many tainted have now joined lik rifas side as well

In the ambush many were killed with Orka injuring drekr and lif injuring Gudvarr but neither of them dying as glornir had to drag Orka away as they retreated to the tunnels after lik rifa turned into her dragon form. Rotta also arrives reporting they were also ambushed as he discovered the tunnels that they attacked from

The bloodsworn and the rest of elvars war host ambush lik rifas forces through the multitude of tunnels that lead from the main hall of the wolf dales. Here they strike quick while warriors and vaesen are still waking from their slumber. In the melee Orka glimpses drekr who sees her as well and now they lock into combat

Lik rifa and her war host are about 5 days out from the wolf dales with Gudvarr riding with sigrun saying that everyone feels fear but it is what you do with it that counts also reflecting on all that Gudvarr has gone through and survived. Now they camp out in the iron wood when a tennur comes saying that “ware they are approaching”

Estrid and skalk have arrived at the wolf dales and glornir moves to kill skalk but is stopped by ulfrir as Elvar says that no one in the warband will fight amongst themselves while they face lik rifa. Elvar accepts them into her retinue as one of either glok or klo returns saying that lik rifa has reached the jarnvidr- the river that leads to the wolf dales

Elvar greets Orka as they bring news that rotta is with lik rifa to ulfrir and skulds disbelief. Orka confirms this with hrung recognizing grok and klo and ulfrir not trusting them as they were spies for snaka. Ulfrir continues to persuade Orka to fight with him and tells her not to trust glok and klo. Orka continually ignores his advice saying her allegiance is to the bloodsworn not caring for what ulfrir says

Sulich the bloodsworn and jarl orlyg arrived at the wolf dales and are now in audience with jarl Elvar as vol and uspa reunite. Ulfrir recognizes the ulfrir tainted among them including Varg and tells them to meet him when they can. Elvar now says a greeting to glornir and asks if Orka is with them

As well as this estrid and skalk have offered to be lik rifas eyes and ears in elvars camp in the wolf dales however I think that when the bloodsworn arrive at the wolf dales they will kill at least skalk and will probably free the ulfrir tainted that estrid controls if ulfrir does not do it himself first
