So far the writing style in this book has been very amateurish, even the dialogues. Like what do you mean "construction workers wearing stupid yellow hats"?? What else are they supposed to wear?? And then "I love it when you fight over me, honey" you got some balls huh, billy" like bruh 😭, I don't mind such dialogues but when you're about to die in 7 days that's not how I expect the characters to talk.

I understand coping mechanisms, I do understand humor to tackle the negativity, it's just I don't like the writing so far that's all. But I'm excited for the plot so let's see
I agree that the writing was a bit too simple, but I liked the plot. Hope you like it too.
