The first chapter was a drag because it mainly about dispelling myths about our forager ancestors (done better by Jeremy C Scott and Christopher Ryan and Graeber tbh also drawing conclusions about them using current day foragers made me roll my eyes every time). Though it did make me realise I need to read up on status and status seeking.
