Ilska and all of lik rifas warrior pour into the chamber while rotta flees from the onslaught of ulfrir as biorr stares at the lifeless body of Elvar with grend stabbing relentlessly into rotta. Now lik rifa arrives in the chamber with brodir who confirms that ulfrir is no thrall which crushes biorr as he realizes Elvar did not lie. Lik rifa kills brodir and now sets about killing ulfrir the old fashioned way

Elvar falls from her bedchamber to the ground with a splat marking her death while hjalmakr and estrid fight to open the doors to which the bloodsworn respond cutting a line through and attacking them. Ulfrir sees the corpse of Elvar and whines while rotta greets him his blade slick with Elvars blood and opens the door to ulfrirs hall letting night hags in

Elvar wakes to the ambush with solin dying and the berserkir guard holding them back as biorr pushes in trying to kill Elvar. Skalk helps the attackers as well while rotta says to biorr he will kill her is biorr doesn’t. Elvar bests biorr in combat and holds him at the point of her sword telling him she has freed the tainted and ulfrir to which biorr was unaware. Now she is caught by surprise and murdered by rotta

Rotta and his crew led by skalk and estrid sneak into elvars chamber, killing those they passed by, and now rotta gives biorr the honour of killing Elvar as she sleeps. But before he could do so one of her guards - Solin I think - thrusts a spear at biorr

Ulfrir congratulates Elvar and says that if she holds her shield wall front of the doors again and retreats a little slower then lik rifa is sure to come attacking thinking ulfrir is weak which would lead to her death. Now she sinks into slumber as grend follows gytha to her chambers and the rest of the warrior rest for the day to come

Rotta and his rat tainted crew snuck into one of the towers that surround the wolf dales. Here he reveals he knows the words to open the seidr barrier after he flayed the skin of Valkyrie - orna and ulfrirs daughter - opening the barrier and meeting with skuld and estrid who waited on the other side

Now Elvar and her forces have retreated into the halls with the stone wolves and skuld menacing the advancing trolls as others retreat before retreating themselves. Now the few trolls hyrundr and frost spiders that made it into the halls are cleaned up by Elvars warriors and ulfrir when grend asks if they can keep one of the frost spiders alive after one makes it to hrung and bites him

Varg and Orka spot brak and drekr in the back lines of the attackers as frost spiders trolls and hyrundr fall upon them. Now elvars war host orders the retreat of the shield wall back into the main halls doors while as the front lines cover those retreating. The ulfrir tainted and berserkir carve open a line in the frost spiders causing a lull where warriors can retreat before they are set upon by the hyrundr

Varg fights many waves of lik rifas war host hoping to come across brak with Orka behind him chopping at any that show an opening. After fighting back many waves lik rifas shield wall retreats a few paces to the joy of elvars shield wall but they do this to let through a tide of frost spiders and trolls

Gytha warns that if Elvar falls so will her war host but she fights in the frontlines with grend sighvat berak and others around her who call her Elvar chain breaker. Elvars shield wall is made of many layers with Iva vol and uspa behind with sulichs archers
