SETTING: This book takes place in late December in three places. London, Egypt, & New York. In London they go to Sadie's grandparents house & the British museum. In Egypt, Carter went to the dig site with his dad, & in NY they went to the mansion & another museum. The current scene is the MET in NY trying to escape from serqet, a scorpion lady. Red lights are flashing, security guards yelling, and glass on the floor.

GENRE: the Genre of the book is fantasy. After Sadie and Carters Dad disappeared in the museum, the police arrived, blamed them for the mess, and the destruction of the Rosetta Stone. They talked to the grandparents, and agreed that they were not allowed in the country so they left for New York and stayed in a humongous mansion. The mansion had two rooms for them filled with things that they usually use or like.

This boy named Carter and his sister Sadie's mother died 6 years ago, and a lot has happened since then. Carter travels a bunch with his dad, and Sadie lives with her grandparents in London along with her cat. Their dad hides things, he is very sneaky and suspicious, he has this suitcase that he lets no one see. The dad said he was going to study the Rosetta stone but ended up destroying it for some reason.
