At least we know the reasoning of the title.

I’m hella confused otherwise…

Hear me out. (My predictions)

-Abby is on the island
-Abby was trapped upstairs in Sandy’s Home and the banging was her trying to get Grady’s attention (not Sandy’s mother)
-The call in the phone book maybe was Abby as Sandy said the highest place on the island and most likely to get a single is her house.

Not sure why they would Kill the old author (Charlie I think his name was)

I don’t like the audiobooks voice - also what in the sound effects (water and the muffled phone call).

Might have to drop this book.
