End of part one and got up to the book club stopping point. Interesting book and concepts going on. Plot is pretty good although the characters/dialogue are cliche. That bathroom scene was pretty gross which i imagine was his goal. I like the mystery and unraveling of things. So far so good.

My friend said the dialogue was cringey and unrealistic and I kinda see it now. The dialogue does come off very story inserted. Tho I’m very much enjoying the story and the setting.

It’s good I enjoy his writing style. I also have the mass market paperback which might be my preferred copy of books.
