I have NO IDEA what she's trying to do with that story. I thought it would be faux-autofiction inserted in some kind of fantasy or SF story, but it's the other way around : real autofiction (and not changing my mind about my HATE HATE HATE about how voyeuristic autofiction makes me/us, as readers), with a fantasy setting added, and both stories never meeting, because no story actually feed the other.
