The pacing is either perfect or extremely slow. Sanderson also has this habit of terrible communication between his characters to prolong the plot which has been a recurring issue throughout this book. Also if he describes the same 3 plants over and over again and im gonna lose my fucking mind, but overall the book has been very good and much better than mistborn ever could be.

Very surprised with how much im liking this book thus far, honestly feel a connection with all of the characters. I just hope that Danilar and Kaladin have some epic moments in the not too distant future as they have been in the dumps recently. Can't wait to see what happens next!

The book has nice pacing and honestly love the character work to my surprise. The plot is progressing nicely, with a fine mix of action, politics and mystery on the horizon. Kaladin is my favorite character thus far and I cant wait to see him get more approval in the future.

Honestly was a bit skeptical starting this, because I wasn't a fan of mistborn, but im already in love with the characters. Shallan is such a well written character im genuinely surprised. Although her plan is beyond foolish, which someone with her level of intelligence should immediately know is not viable. But apart from the immerson breaking stupid plan, everything is cool thus far
