Something stood out to me in this reading session. It’s called how to choose. It was talking about how when there is multiple choices how to pick. It talked about AB testing and the coin flip test and which one you actually want to happen seeps out more. And how not to worry about all the possibilities because you have nothing to compare it to. There’s no what if because it has to happen parallel.

We talked about the creative process. Things such as breaking the rules and just trying something new. Uhh we talked about the experimenter and the finisher and how one takes a while to try things and the other pushes things out.

This section talked about the point of view of creating the art and how different points of view can make different outcomes

We talked about seeds. And how we’ll find seeds of inspiration and not sure which is right to try and put more attention into. But also that if we collect more seeds that we will have a better chance and opportunity to pick one that is right for us

We talked about inspiration and how how if we strike it, we should ride the wave of inspiration for as long as we can until it runs out. Then we move onto habits where we habits and discipline go hand in hand in the creative process.

The beginners mind was actually a goated chapter. It talked about go and how an Ai without any knowledge just the base rules taught itself and beat a grandmaster. But it was because it was experiencing for the first time instead of preconceived notions and norms.

I’m so lost in the book. I think I have to look into the side I’m not working on?
