Slow, intimate, it's very soothing yet there's a tension I can't pinpoint. Depression is extremely precisely and realistically described, I appreciate how we slowly get to know Abra, and how we grow tenderness for her at our own pace. It's a bit hard to read for me after Yesteryear, which provided similar settings, although it's the only comparaison I can really make, but I know it's slowing me down
