I have laughed out loud while reading this at least a dozen times

Loving this book so far. Reading very slowwwwllyyy Savoring.

Sut just got shitfaced, his buds took good care of him cuz their community is built on support and kindness, but then Sut’s existential shame led to him sleeping under a strangers’ bed and puking all over and then contemplating some real dark abstract shit.

Harrowgate will probably be back at some point? Love that prospect

Ok well the first ~15 pages are DENSE as anything I’ve read - McCarthy’s bank of nouns is unreal, but the challenge has calmed down and I am SO strapped in. Our wounded social outsider, but not a Henry Miller type that thinks he’s transcended anything with his bohemian superiority complex laughs. That Patti Smith song where she yells “outside of society!” plays in my head

This book is going to take me 500 years to read. Seems like it will be worth it though
