F. P. added a status update
This is a personal update: I probably won’t be here much or at all over the next few weeks. I added a book here, Paper Collage--I’ve started working with it & it’s helped me get back into collaging, has given me some ideas I want to explore. I finished my final read-through on the 7th Star Rose book & am working on doing my checks on it…but the interest in #1-6 on Amazon only lasted a few days.

F. P. And now I feel ambivalent about putting out anymore of the Rose books, or any others of my books ever. I had two more stories in the works for another Astronaut Problems book, but one story was coming out too long, and the other was coming out too hard sci-fi. At this point, working hard on them to make them better doesn’t seem like it would be time well-spent for me, when lately it seems like I’m running out of time faster and faster.

I still read and work on my Rose books at night--#7-16. I haven’t completed first-drafting the 17th one--I think I made a mistake in my last update here on my Rose books. Number 17 is actually two books I’ve been working on, but I can’t decide which one I want to finish first-drafting as the 17th.

It doesn’t matter. I need to let go. I know that; my husband’s always telling me that. It’s taken me too many years to accept it because writing's been my life's work, and in general I’m too damn persistent for my own good.

But then, absent any major interest in my books, my deadline for doing anything more with them publishing-wise is at the end of the year, which is only months away. Retirement from all this next year, here I come.

The weather’s getting colder where I am, and I need to make some changes in my house; I just do not do well in the cold anymore. It’s really bad for me because I can no longer keep my fingers on my dominant hand warm enough without making a concerted effort there.

I’ve removed the link to my blog from on my profile here--it was only getting a bunch of bot clicks from here for a few days; a legitimate click on my blog only comes once every few months. The link to it's on my Amazon author profile anyway.

I’ll try to update here once in a while on that Star Trek book if I continue reading it, and also update on a few of the comics I’m reading.

Take care.
