The insta-love and insta-lust is pretty insufferable so far. I get that these characters have psychic abilities, visions, and the like, but it still feels unsatisfying and dull to have the romance happen right away with zero build-up or tension. And we still have just under a thousand pages to go. I hope this doesn't hijack the entire story, which has been very compelling up until now.
