I thought the audiobook would help with the horrendous writing but I hate it even more

I really want to like this, but having the physical book means the narrator can't hide certain things. currently struggling with every paragraph being exactly one sentence. also, the use of the words immediately, instantly, and suddenly. the writing, in general, is making me want to skim for concept only.
