My patience has been rewarded. This is getting very intriguing (for a western SciFi....) though it would make no sense if you hadn't read the first 2 Pandominium books (which luckily I have...but I thought this was a standalone).

Hmmmmm, a Western? But it's SciFi? I'm not so sure about this. I'm being patient with the slow start because I usually love everything this author writes. 100 pages in, I finally realized that this is linked to his Pandemonium books (which I loved but read years ago, so I'm trying to remember them). That intrigues me more! Why is the only character I like an .....AI gun?
