So Calla was the niece of Severin , the man who helped train Knox and Brady , and it seems she was abducted before Brady turned 18. Also the fact Knox may have sponsors in the game makes it a lot more complicated in the dynamic. Also Savannah and Rohan have very clear sexually tension that clearly needs to be resolved

Ok so not much to report on but.. there is obvious romantic coding between Lyra and Grayson , Gigi and Brady , aswell as Rohan taking an interest in Savannah , even if she clearly wants no part in his ideas

So it turns out there are actually 8 players in this years grandest game instead of the traditional 7 , and the 8th player being Grayson makes me think the others want him to find his true love in the games 👀 Also , Knox and Brady having a history with each other ( they mention the previous grandest games ) and their connection with a girl named Calla who was supposedly taken .. hmm

So the finally person in the grandest game is called Knox! Interesting… I love the idea of a masquerade ball starting the entire game off , especially as Lyra has unfinished business with the Hawthorne’s and what they supposedly did to her father 👀. Also , Rohan congratulating Nash on the BABIES HELLO?? Like I know him and Libby were married from the previous book but damn they going straight into business

So the grandest game has officially begun! I think the use of three narrators this time allows for a more varied experience , rather than first person. We have Rohan , who was part of Jameson’s story in the previous book , Gigi - who is Grayson’s half sister , and Lyra Banks - who is unfortunately going through financial issues. I quite like this lineup , aswell as the rest of the cast
