Kidan having Susenyos’ fangs is really a big deal. She also just displayed it for everyone to see…? Karma though, for what Susenyos did.
However, I find it funny how he literally says “I’ll never forgive you for this” and the fanart at the end of the book suggests otherwise…

Kidan took the fake poison, now Susenyos has to help her. Because of this, he “confessed” to not hurting or killing Jane… seems to add up. I think he just acted crazy to get her kicked out.

Taj is an important guy I fear. He’s kind, in vampire ways, he’s charming and unfortunately he’s hot. So he’s either a bad, good or goofy guy… but he knows something we don’t…

AHHHH SHE PULLED HIS FANGS OUT! I was cringing but couldn’t stop reading. If that doesn’t confirm how meant for each other they are, I don’t know what will.
I’m believing, the Dean is not good. Her Aunt Silia is also unreliable, and there are larger forces at play here.
Maybe Jude is PART of something bigger… we shall see!

This is getting goooood… Susenyos and Kidan are hot. They already have this banter and attitude together that promises a good time.
I’m enjoying the world we’re in so far, there’s a set objective, conflict and challenges in ready to see Kidan face. Also learning about this world, what’s normal and what’s weird etc.

Kidan Adane is one interesting character. 5 chapters in and I feel like I know her so well. She’s stubborn, strong, motivated and a little bad but in the best way.
I’m intrigued by what Aunt Silia has in store for us with this book.
I was really like how there’s video recordings and letters that break up the basic paragraph after paragraph stuff.
