I shouldn't have eaten breakfast while listening to this chapter. Holy shit i love the imagery, the nightmarish and unsettling the tension...and the girl just walks up to him asking if hes ready to go now. Like did she watch him fuck a corpse? Did he fuck a corpse? What was he actually doing?!? Ahhhh. Im so glad this audio book was free.

Chapter 13 was so cute and chapter 14 was our priest's backstory. and while the backstory was definitely sad, it was far from the eldritch horrors of Paris or the tourney. i fear for 15

listening to this after re-watching knight of the seven kingdoms is crazy. I think I might stick to medieval fantasy for a while. Or just hit up the witcher series again seeing how I've been sitting on the 5th audiobook for a while now.
