“The evidence of our coupling” EWWWWWWW, I prefer crude wording than the weird euphemisms.

They’re both so annoying with each other. Please, you met yesterday.
And this FMC is the most dramatic in a bad way, I should DNF but I wanna see how it all ends cause I just know it’s gonna be some bullshit lol.

The male narrator is great, love the husky voice!
However, this is just very typical romantasy in its execution, which sucks because the world-building is very interesting.

I don’t understand why the FMC doesn’t just say what she needs to say like “hey, I was mad as hell about the kidnapping (besides de obvious) because my mom was having an episode and I needed to get back to her”. That would make things so much easier for everyone. Maybe she will now that they’re in a better place?

I can’t with the narrator’s overly dramatic whiny performance. Like her voice is amazing but god, it makes the FMC even more annoying.

aaaaaand the FMC is starting to get annoying and hard-headed GREAT! Why do authors insist in making them idiotic brats? Grown ass women???

I really do like Raven Kennedy’s FMCs. I also like the Pied Piper inspiration, it’s fun. I’m very interested in how this story develops in terms of the plot and world-building.
The only meh part so far is the insta-lovey vibes, I’m pretty sure they’re mates or the equivalent in this world.
