This is the 2nd novel in A Bad Luck cat mystery novel by Kay Finch. The first novel I gave 4 stars to because I got annoyed with the msin character. Hitchcock the black cat & the mystery in the first novel persuaded me to try the next novel in the series. It hasn't disappointed. Set in Texas this novel has a rodeo in it. I like rodeos!

I enjoyed this mysery better than the first book in A Bad Luck mystery series. I just love Hitchcock. I had a black cat once. I miss her alot but now I have a white cat named Ghost. The mysery kept me guessing & I didn't quite solve the mystery but close. I look forward to visiting Lavender, Texas & the gang at Around the World Cottages in the next book & Hitchcock!
