I have read a third of the book and I just don’t feel anything for the main protagonist Vera, and I was getting to dislike her. I am going to shelve the book as I prefer the wife Pearl and the suffragette struggle than what appears to be more a romance.
The background information was interesting and it looked like the novel would be as well.
