My dad was confused why I set an alarm for 3:30am yesterday and only got more confused when my reply was "hockey". And no, the confusion didn’t stem from me only waking up for the third period. This is because he is an unenlightened football fan.

I’m German so NHL games are very early in the morning for me most of the time. I woke up at 3:30am to catch the last bit of a game without losing too much sleep. My dad asked me why I was awake so early. He doesn’t get why I do this to myself to watch hockey because he’s a football fan.
Ah… my dad always stays up late to watch golf lol
My dad stays up late every Sunday to watch a show where they just dig around on some random Canadian island (there’s supposedly some kind of treasure buried there but people have been searching for over a century and no one has found anything lol)
