I thought from the beginning that Agnus sounded too mature. Then learned that she ages in later chapters to more like the age the narrator sounds like. So fine. But THEN we find out that she doesn't age normally? So she should still have a teenager's voice!

So many mispronounced words -- or maybe wrong words in the text? I though perhaps I misheard the first one, then second I though perhaps it was a British pronunciation. But by the time I got to this point and the brother used "immorality" when he meant "immortality" is neither. WTF? Was this in the text?
