This story is so cute! Very whimsical and autumnal. Kind of funny though because I can tell they’re supposed to be southern and probably from the states but I keep giving them British accents.

Verity is so freaking cute! I love her can-do attitude. And I love how everyone immediately loves Jack.
The writing took some getting used to and I’m still not too keen on it. It’s very whimsical, but something about it just doesn’t flow naturally to me.
That said, this would make such a great Ghibli film😄

This was recommended to me by a Barnes and Noble salesperson, and I just have such a damn hard time saying no. Anyway, it’s a nice fall read and it’s very magical and whimsical so far :)
