Some thoughts so far, since this is a book I’m reading close to publication that’s also contemporary;
- I can’t decide if the grumpyXsunshine trope and the fact that she dressed up as sunshine for Halloween is genius or just bad
- describing her hair colour as wheat blonde in the first 3 pages of the book… I can’t decide if that’s amateurish writing or not
