C.G. Drews really knows how to write a toxic and complex character and somehow make you feel for them. Like you know Elodie isn't in the right, but reading about the snippets of her home life and the balancing game she's partaking in while she juggles her son's autism and more than likely her own, it makes you want to root for her in a weird way.
