OK this is really weird. It’s very creative, but also just. Really weird. And disgusting.

It’s obvious that Sammo and Ryun love each other. Why does that seem like such a taboo fact? Either a sibling bond between a brother and sister is taboo, because of Nhaga sexism, or my worst fears are true and their feelings aren’t familial, but romantic.

Kagan and Yosby were gay. They were so gay.

WHAT. Kagan knows Ryun’s father???? The plot thickens!

So the Nhaga just… swallow their prey whole. Like snakes.

Ryun was meant to be a novice: interesting. I hope Serisma will set them straight and realise that Ryun didn’t kill Hwarit!

Murdered by his own sister. Tragic.

Once the Nhaga men come of age, they go into the jungle for a bit. Probably to prove themselves. Also, they’ve got no concept of a father. The men aren’t see as parents at all, just donors.
But Ryun understands the concept of a father, and knows about other human concepts, like clapping. Who is teaching him these things?

Ryun’s father died in the heart tower. Was he executed? Had he refused to give up his heart and lived for years undetected, until he was found and killed?

Was the wrestling how Kagan met the Tokkebi lord?
Lol Kagan is extremely socially stunted after years of living alone. And it’s affected his memory. Poor man.
