Douglas said he didn’t know how he felt about her. Jack says he needs to apologize to his daughter. Jack says he wants to go with them but he can’t give her what she wants and he can’t stand her leaving him again.

He said he fell in love with cooking I this kitchen and with a woman who resists every category, definition and expectation.

He said they could still be together. In New York or anywhere else. It’s just too much for him in Florida. She told him to stop punishing himself. And that’s not what she wants. She said she wants to be there. He said he can’t. She said can’t or won’t. He said don’t make me do this. That’s when she called him a coward. And told him that his career is not all he has.

He said maybe things would have gone different if he would have told her he was thinking of staying. And keeping fable.

Her dad said she’s sleeping with him. And that he could come too plane doesn’t take off till early morning. He said she made her choice. Tell her I hope she took the cat.

She overhear her dad and Jack talking. Jack saying the Diehl is off. So she hears that her dad got jacked to babysit her. But Jack was telling her it’s complicated but she won’t listen to him. She said I thought you told me I thought you cared maybe even… Jack said I do.
She said I don’t believe you and she left

Her parents are there and so is the guy that reviews food

Oh he’s going to tell her about the deal with her dad. He knows it’s gonna be a dealbreaker. Which I said.
He said she belongs back in New York. I don’t know where I belong. But I know it’s not with her. She deserves the truth and I deserve what follows.
