This book is interesting and fun but I’m just not 100% in it. I had to switch to an audio version after reading 55% on the Bookwise app.

3.5/5 or 3.8/5 (so far) - finding it kind of hard to finish

New characters sound creepy/cool looking.

I feel like I’m enjoying the lore but it’s sitting right at a 4 out of 5. A little slow for my taste but I’ve yet to hit 50% progress. I liked this quote: The inscription reads as follows: WHEN WE SEEK TO RULE ONLY OURSELVES, WE ARE EACH OF US KINGS.

Gorgons are cool.

This book has been kind of tough to get through. I find myself more interested in stories that more heavily involve or include magic or that involve beings with supernatural powers. I suppose this book, maybe isn’t “high fantasy”, I still enjoy it but I’m tempted to give it a 3.5/5 (for now). It’s fun and interesting, just hard to read on my phone with Bookwise.
