How the hell is she going back to the academy? She’s been FOUND OUT. Her head of house just tried to kill her in the tunnels! The Prince of the damn realm chased her through town and carted her to prison !

The problem is I don’t care about these side characters. It’s not a found family dynamic because all of that happened before we entered the story. That’s why none of the deaths have mattered.

YES. Finally a book where we’re not wasting time imprisoned, separated, staging a drawn out rescue etc.
