It’s soooo suspicious no one knows what Nabbers are. Like not even Henry?? What is happenniiiing?
Is just Mer’s area targeted and why??

Alright okay I got an answer haha
Sounds like a pretty cool tattoo
I’m still shit at picturing it though

Sidenote: I really wonder what the tattoo looks like.
I am now imagine a poorly done cursive name or a really shitty portrait 😂
I know he has a lot of tattoos but is he even a good artist? I have so many questions abt this process but I guess the answer is just magic or sth

EXCUSE ME
HE. LICKED. A. FRESH. TATTOO?!
oh that’s crazy
Also now I’m expecting him to do this to every recruit who gets a tattoo hahahha

Wait yeah how did the people who found the body not immediately know it was her bc there would have been soooo much hair left at the scene of the crime lol

I sighed audibly when I read “mate”
I’m so tired of the mating trope but also it makes sense in this book uagh haha

(Beginning of chapter 16)
EW. Just ewwww. The way the King is treating the women makes me wanna throw up

Yeaaahhhhh so I made the rookie mistake of looking up some fanart when I was like 12% in bc I had a hard time visualizing everything and man did I run into a major spoiler :’))
This is a good plottwist though - wish I hadn’t seen the spoiler beforehand😭

You know what… maybe he’s not gonna get killed but maybe there will be some big plot twist and he turns out to be evil or something. I hope not but I could definitely see it happening

Okay I need to reiterate how supportive this man is:

She enlists and he knows it is hella dangerous but what he does is he:
- lets her talk
- shows his emotions
- stays calm and does not argue because he knows she made a very difficult decision
- expresses understanding and support
- takes her shopping for better gear to help her stand a better chance

Like COME ON ❤️
