The whiplash from the alternating James and Rosa's POV's is making me go crazy. Like we have some fever dream kids, pregnant superwoman-yet weak-Juliette, childhood trauma, and cyber sexual assault/threats in James' POV and then some psychopath-childhood friend-betrothed-abuser trauma going on in Rosa's POV. It's seriously INSANE.

The physical RECOIL I just had to James mentioning an ONYX table in his sitting room needs to be studied. Like, you really had to bring that up after I just finished Onyx Storm last week and Threshing Day today? OUT OF ALL THINGS YOU CHOOSE ONYX? THE COLOR XADEN'S EYES ARE NO LONGER?
