Thank fuck Cat Sebastian exists after reading that god awful queer book for bookclub. In contrast, I find Cat Sebastian’s work to be in conversation with her queer contemporaries. Queer romance should never be written bc of our absence and un-belonging in cishet spaces, it should be written for us to show authenticity of our love stories. You can tell a secure writer (Cat) from an insecure one (Joshua).
