No quotation marks. This is confusing and annoying and disrupts the flow of the prose.

I don't like any of the characters. Katey is too nice and why she absolutely thinks Eve is the "bestest" is beyond me.
Eve is a stuck-up bi*ch. Tinker loves Katey but when Eve is injured she plays on Tinker's guilt and starts a relationship with him. Then she shoves it in Katey's face - and she loves her for it.
