"The gate knocked. The hut answered." - Look if I wanted an attempt at literary fiction I'd have read that. This type of thing just breaks the immersion. I really haven't connected to the character because of all the complicated formulation. I am not a writer, but as s reader of LITRPG, I can only say: keep the damn prose simple. Different book genres need different writing styles... 🫤
