interesting commentary on childhood

as much as i am enjoying this book. god i can't stand non-linear narratives in non fiction. i barely tolerate it there.

female infanticide! well! can't say i'm too surprised

cmon vercingetorixa!

48 percent interest rate!?!?

truthfully, this makes me remember how deeply xenophobia is ingrained into western culture. it's ingrained so deeply into rome/greece. so how can we ever out run that original sin

it's crazy that rome is real. like. sometimes when u hear about this shit it feels like a really crazy anime

yk i love me some revolutionary war tactics

interesting how this concept of Belief really emerges within abrahamic religions.

i'm so surprised that CEASER of all people was the first person to recommend life in prison over death
