Took me a while to finally finish it, but I'm pushing myself to reduce my currently reading so yay. I might have liked it more if I had finished it in one go. Or if the VAs weren't both entirely boring in their own ways.

God, I can't with how monotonous Michael Dean is in this. Between him and Liam. DiCosimo, this may be one of the worst narrations I've listened to since The Giver (which, to be clear, was worse).

I don't know if it's because I find Liam DiCosimo to be a sub-par VA, and especially so on this book (and Michael Dean isn't much better - possibly worse), but I'm finding this audiobook to be quite dry, and honestly kind of hard to get through. Honestly, I feel like DiCosimo is fucking narrating the spice scene in ch. 18. I'm sorry, but is this a German audiobook? Or one from the '90s?
