okay things are marginally more tolerable now

i might be finishing this series out of sheer spite and the feeling of watching a train wreck. definitely what's gonna get me through the rest of the book

where's your tension wrench buddy cuz you're sure as shit not getting a door lock, even a cheap shitty one, open with two "needles"

oh are we gonna have lock picking inaccuracy cuz that's gonna make me lose it. shit is so easy to research even if you're not doing it yourself man come on

W o a h okay I know this was written in 2013 but still, oof

genuinely every time i let my guard down because things have settled out i am slapped with some other nonsense. i do think it's going to be neil that does me in because his jumpiness isn't written believably enough in my eyes

every new character makes this harder to read. not a shred of aaron's dialogue sounds like it should be coming out of a human man's mouth in modern america. i could excuse basically everything going on here if it weren't for the setting and i think that's what's driving me the most insane about it. also tell me what this nice car is i like cars too much to be teased with that and leave me with even more nothing
