I liked BG3, loved Astarion as a character, and am not a huge fan of T. Kingfisher. I've also been hearing mixed things about this book. We'll see how this goes"

The characterization of Astarion is really well done in the writing. He's very sensory and notices a lot of specific, small details. I also love his sassy thoughts. I'm interested (and horrified) by his life with Cazador. At this moment I don't know what people have been complaining about, but the plot hasn't picked up yet either
